This article provides guidance on handling unconfirmed transactions and utilising the Replace by Fee (RBF) feature to expedite transactions within the system. It covers normal confirmation times, troubleshooting delayed transactions, and using the RBF feature for faster processing.
Understanding Normal Confirmation Times
Bitcoin transactions typically take around 10 minutes to confirm, while Ethereum transactions confirm in about 12 seconds. If a Bitcoin transaction has fewer than 6 confirmations, it is still in the process and should be completed in due time.
Troubleshooting Delayed Transactions
Identify Insufficient Fees:
If a transaction remains unconfirmed with 0 confirmations for an extended period, it likely indicates that the transaction fee was too low.
Wait for the network fees to decrease, at which point the transaction will be processed.
Replace by Fee (RBF) Feature:
The RBF feature allows you to replace a pending transaction with a new one that has a higher fee. This feature is supported for Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Ethereum (ETH), and Bitcoin (BTC).
The Replace by fee option is available only if the payout can be replaced. If the button is not displayed, this feature is not applicable to your payout.
Using the Replace by Fee (RBF) Feature
Access the Client Panel:
Navigate to your client panel and select the desired payout transfer.
Initiate Replace by Fee:
Click on the Replace by Fee button to create a new transaction with a higher fee.
The initial transaction will be dropped, and the new transaction will be passed to the mempool for processing.
Completion:
The new transaction will expedite confirmation due to the higher fee.
Additional Information
• Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access the client panel and initiate transactions.
• The new fee level should be commensurate with the fees recorded on the blockchain.
