How to Create a Wallet in COINSBUY

Follow this simple guide to set up your Enterprise, Merchant, or Swap wallet, including activation steps and security tips.

1. Choose Your Wallet Type

The system offers three wallet types. Select one based on your needs:

• Enterprise Wallet: For businesses (supports crypto, stablecoins, tokens).
• Merchant Wallet: This is for transactions (supports fiat or crypto).
• Swap Wallet: For currency swaps (one per currency).

2. Wallet Creation

1. Log in to your account.
2. Navigate to:

• Enterprise/Merchant: "Wallet Management → Wallets".

  

• Swap: "Swaps → Wallets".

  

3. Click Add wallet (or Add swap wallet).

3. Wallet-Specific Instructions

A. Enterprise Wallet

1. Select Type & Currency:

• Choose Enterprise Wallet → Proceed.

• Select a currency (e.g., ETH, BTC, USDT).
  "For tokens": Link a parent wallet - main wallet from which funds are drawn to cover transaction fees or to collect tokens from deposit addresses
  (e.g., ETH for ERC-20 & Optimism, Base, Arbitrum tokens, TRX for TRC-20 tokens).

  

2. Activation Fee (For ETH, TRX, BNB, XRP, XLM):

• Option 1: Use an existing wallet of the same currency.
  Go to "Wallet Settings → Activate" → Select wallet → Confirm.

  

• Option 2: Deposit from an external wallet.
  Check the fee amount in "Wallet Settings". Send the fee to the deposit address provided.

  

Approximate activation fee (excluding blockchain fee):
0.15 ETH / 300 TRX / 0.025 BNB / 20 XRP / 1 XLM

3. Advanced Options (Optional)

• Label: Assign a name (e.g., "Business ETH Wallet").
• Minimum Transfer Amount: Block small transactions.
• Notification/Customer Support Emails: Add comma-separated addresses.   

4. Finalize: Click Proceed.

• Status: In Progress → Active (after activation).

B. Merchant Wallet

1. Select Type & Currency:

• Choose Merchant Wallet → Proceed.
• Pick fiat (e.g., USD) or crypto (e.g., BTC).  

2. Advanced Options (Optional):

• Label: Name your wallet (e.g., "Online Store USD").
• Site URL: Link to your website.
• Notification/Customer Support Emails.  

3. Finalize: Click Proceed.

• Status: In Progress → Active (within minutes). 

C. Swap Wallet

1. Navigate: "Swaps → Wallets" → Add swap wallet.

2. Select Currency: Choose fiat or crypto (one per currency).

3. Finalize: Click Confirm.

• Ready for swaps immediately.   

4. Additional Information

• Manage access rights: Assign roles (e.g., Admin, Read only, Withdrawals with approval) via "Wallet Settings".
• Wallet Type/Currency: Cannot be changed after creation.
• Swap Wallets: Limited to one per currency.
• Tokens: Always link to a parent wallet.
• Please note that a wallet can only be deleted if it has no balance and no transaction history. If the wallet contains funds or has any past transactions, deletion will not be possible for security and traceability reasons.
